The Client:
Bastian Hospitality manages two of the city’s most popular restaurants: Bastian and One Street. One Street, conceptualized by Corporate Chef and F&B Director Kelvin Cheung, is an easy-going, cocktail-forward bar that serves elevated American comfort food with an emphasis on local ingredients. Bastian, on the other hand, focuses on family-style offerings with some of the finest seafood in the city, reinterpreted in flavors that highlight the chefs’ signature styles and global backgrounds. Their extensive menu also includes ample options to keep vegetarian diners satiated.
Challenges and Insights:
In order to showcase the newest menu items, Posted by Samara developed a storyboard which would highlight the innovative offerings on hand using the theme previously established by One Street. By incorporating in branded items and using elements of the restaurants decor, Posted by Samara helped to further cement the differentiation between the two restaurants owned by the group. For Bastian, Posted by Samara shot a seasonal chefs special using the ethos of the restaurant.
