The Client:

One Degree aims to connect people directly by turning crowdsourced images into supercool t-shirt designs. The brand seeks its inspiration from the popular theory of the ‘6 Degrees of Separation’ that claims that everyone in this world is connected by a maximum of 6 people—all you need to do is find the right 6 people. The brand decided to take the shorter route and connect people by one degree, which is directly. The ultimate parameter of its success is to eventually have everyone who submitted their images to meet the people wearing their design.

The Challenge:

Posted by Samara went behind the scenes to help the brand magnify its digital presence by supplying lucid communication for the website as well as streamlining the content for various touchpoints, such as personal emailers and reminders. Given the younger vibe of the t-shirt label, the written content was accordingly given a lighter treatment that tapped directly into the brand’s millennial ethos.
